7 carat Opposed bar faceted pegmatite crystal

Hand faceted hand mine cahuilla mountain pegmatite crystal faceted in opposed bar style this piece is a rare opportunity to own a piece of California history as well as take part in the history of my own facet journey, this is the last piece that will ever be cut on the standard vevor master lap in my studio. 

some slightly funnled facets indicative of the lower quality beginner level laps and master lap used during the faceting process.

this stone was faceted on hard mode, using the bare bones least effective equipment available. As such I hope it finds a home with a collector who can truly appreciate the time effort and dedication to the art form that it took to get this stone to shine.
